A big thank you to everyone who turned up today to make the first Open Day at Ladywell Fields a really memorable day. It was brilliant to see lots of new players both juniors and adults having fun with Mini tennis, Beat the coach, Cardio tennis and fastest serve. We look forward to seeing you next Saturday

We’re really pleased to annouce that South East London Tennis will be offering quality and affordable tennis coaching at Ladywell Fields for the local community.

We welcome everyone to an OPEN DAY on Saturday 13th April 2013 10am – 2pm.
Come and join us to try tennis for the first time or dig out those rusty rackets and remind yourself of what you’ve been missing.There will taster sessions for Mini Tennis, Junior and Adult tennis and Cardio Tennis. The sessions are for those aged 6+ to adults and all abilities are welcome.

We will very soon confirm the coaching sessions that will be available from the start of the school summer term. All sessions will be pay and play but if you want to confirm your place it will be possible to block book your sessions in advance at a reduced rate.

Friday Night Competition @ Sydenham Tennis Club

We have had a very successful Friday night Competition @ Sydenham Tennis Club with over 70 juniors taking part in 5 separate events. The competitions were for mini tennis green players, 12 & Unders, 14 & Unders and 16 & Unders. It has been brilliant to see the children showing such energy and commitment, many of whom were playing in their first competition. Well done to all the players who took part but especially to:

12 & Under Winner – Jay Gardener, Runner Up Daniel Palmer

Mini Green Winner – Bunmi Davies, Runner Up - Aaron Pike

16 & Under Winner – Kieran Cavanagh, Runner Up - Henry Bradley

14 & Under Winner – Oscar Baker

12 & Under Winner – Kate Hanton, Runner Up – Omar Prince

Lewisham Schools Mini Red Tournament

Sydenham Tennis Club welcomed 14 schools from Lewisham to play the annual Year 3/4 mini red tennis competition. Congratulations to everyone who took part, it was a really enjoyable day and great to see all the courts full of children playing tennis. The overall winners were St William of York who beat St Winifreds in the final and they will go on to represent Lewisam in the London School Games. Dalmain beat Ashmead in the play off for 3rd place. We are already looking forward to next years event.
